IMMIGRATION “DRIVE” STARTS. LECTURES ON NEW ZEALAND.
(Sydney “Sun” Cabled LONDON, February 26. Another Scottish invasion of New Zealand is probable in June or July. The migration officials are conducting a super-drive by lectures and pamphlets in all the Scottish centres to . secure domestics and farm workers before the half-yearly re-engagements in May. Sir James Allen is participating in lectures at tlie Geographical Society and Chamber of Commerce in Edinburgh It is believed that 60,000 of the most suitable British migrant* can un obtained for New Zealand, if nominations are available.
