OUTBREAK OF FIRE
CALL TO WOODWARD STREET. BLIGHT DAMAGE DONE. At 8.52 a.m. yesterday, the Fire Brigade received a call to a four-floor building in Woodward struct which is owned by the firm of Vickers (N.Z.), Ltd., and Occupied, by the Metropolitan Vickers Electrical Company, Ltd. The building and contents on the second floor were slightly damaged. The .building is insured in the London and Lancashire office for £BOOO, and the contents in the Royal Exchange office for £IOOO.
