NEW FAYING LOAN
COUNCIL’S LENGTHY DISCUSSION. MATTER PRACTICALLY DECIDED. The City Council spent some hours in committee last evening discussing the new loan for paving city streets. The council has almost reached a decision on the subject but it has been decided to postpone further discussion of the matter until next Friday when the necessary data will be before the city’s executive. The amount to be raised has been practically decided, and when the technical data, necessary to launch the scheme is available a full statement will be made.
