RAILWAY CONCESSIONS
TRAVELLER’S SAMPLES. FREE RAILAGE FOR SOUTH SEAS EXHIBITION. Last night’s Gazette announces tbs following concessions regarding left luggage:— Commercial travellers will be allowed eighteen hours’ free storage for their samples, conditionally on toe department not being liable in any circumstances whatever for any loss or damage in respect of the came. If samples in respect of which free storage is granted under 'he provisions hereof nre left in the custody ot the department for a longer period than eighteen hours the ordinary cloak-room charges will be made fop time in excess of the free allowance stipulated above. Exhibits for the New Zealand and -South Seas Exhibition will ;:i>o bet carried free on rail, and also for tfce return journey provided that toe articles have not been transferred, sold or exchanged, ar d if labelled as stecified.
