On the grass Valiane beat Lausanne and Quixotic over four furlongs in 40sec. Prince Woorak beat Murray King over nine furlongs in 2min 2isec. Quintus and Danton did six furlongs in lmin 15isec. Aecarak covered a mile and three-quartais in 3min the last twelve furlongs in 2min 44sec./ Brimming beat Slip over five furlongs on the tan in lmin ssec. The Night Patrol did five furlongs on the tan in lmin 2sec. Valiant beat Polytheist over six furlongs in lmin 183 sec. Back wood an d Bold and Bad did nine furlongs in 2min lsec. At Caulfield Fuji San beat Lady Thrill over four furlongs in 48oec, King Carnival did fourv in 50isec, St. Lough Ailbe beat Tressayr and Lion Isle over eleven in 2min *2ssec. Amalfi did nine furlongs in lmin sGssec, Swoop covered five furlongs on the sand in lmin 4£sec. Father’s Voice did five furlongs easily in lmin 3sec; Kidlaw six furlongs in 1 min 19sec; Intriguer and Royal Rip eleven in 2min 82sec; Suomi ten in. 2min 16sec; Last Drop three in 37sec, and Nissorvand a mile and a half in 2min 40sec.
