MARKS OF MANUFACTURES. LEGISLATION REQUIRED. Reuter’s Telegram(Received December 17, 8.40 p.m.) LONDON, December 16. Sir P. Cunliffe-Lister, President of the Board of Trade, replying to a question in the House of Commons, said legislation would be required if all the manufactures imported from foreign countries were to be marked with the name of the country where they were manufactured. The question of amending the existing law would be considered.
