Alexander Robertson, aged 37, an accountant, was sentenoed to two years’ reformative detention to-day on charges of fraudulent conversion, falsification of accounts, and bigamy. It was stated that the accused came to Auckland from New Plymouth, went on a drinking bont, and was arrested for obtaining £lO by false entries. On the afternoon of the day when he was allowed out' oh bail, he went through a form of marriage with a young girl. The prisoner’s wife had written ta say that she would take him back and forgive him.
