HERETAUNGA AND DISTRICT. SEPARATE SERVICE WANTED. The question of an independent water supply for Heretaunga and district came, before the Hutt County Council yesterday. The matter was raised by a letter from the Trentham, Heretaunga, and Silverstream Progressive Association, which asked the council if, in view of the dilatory attitude of the Upper Hutt Town Board, it Would have the county engineer furnish a report on the possibilities of a separate supply at as early a date as possible. To this the Hutt County Council agreed.
