MR RUDYARD KIPLING’S DAUGHTER

The marriage took place on October 22nd at St. Margaret’s, Westminster London, of Miss Elsie Kipling.- daugti ter of Mr and Mrs Rudyard Kipling, of Batemans, Bnrwasb, Susses, to .Captain George Bamjiridge, M.C., lat< of the Irish Guards, an attache at Hi. Majesty’s Embassy, Madrid. A plain tnlle veil was ■ held by a Russian coronet of orange blossom and green leaves, and s Incarried a sheaf of lilies. Lard Leiglr. niece, Miss Maragret Leigh, was tbe only bridesmaid. Her frock of sunflower .yellow panne velvet was warp with a picture hat of russet brown and she carried a bouquet of deej yellow <uid bronze chrysanthemums Mrs Stanley Baldwin lent her house ii Eaton square for the reception, wher. more than 300 guests were present. Mrs Rudyard Kipling wore a. dee; brown satin coat over a dress of \tl-. same shade, and a picture hat of : deeper shade. Miss Betty -Baldwin - who is a great friend of the bride, war among the number of young gfe-ls present.
