SAFE ROBBED
BURGLARS AT EVANS BAY. Burglars entered the premises of the Evans Bay Timber Company between 8 and 9 o’clock on Monday evening, and removed about £lO in money from the office safe. The visitor or visitors gained entrance through breaking one of the windows in the main building. The safe was open, and the opportunity was taken to remove the money. The police have the matter in hand.
