In moving the adoption of the report, Mr L. R. It was time that the industrial associations in this-coun-try formed a live co-operation so that they could speak with a more Certain voice and work steadily for the good of the Dominion's industries and the country generally with a scheme of propaganda. ORGANISATION WANTED. The Department of Industries was doing a great deal of good with the -mall sum of money at their disposal, and members should organise the same as the farmers had done. The farmers seemed to forgot that the industrialists —ere their greatest customers. Mr J. "W. Clinkard. of the Department of Industries and Commerce, said ’ hat ho agreed that there was a need for propaganda, not the putting nut of pamphlets, hut the combatting of articles, etc., on free-trade. He thought that there should he a dissemination of scientific information, and the manufacturers should be kept in touch with the latest methods used in other countries. , Mr H.
