Counting cash received and subscriptions promised, the City’s War Memorial Fund ■ now stands at a little over £17,000. The thought for to-day is that between now and Armistice Day, November Uth .next, there is a space of about four weeks in which to raise nearly £3OOO. Can it be done? Will you do what you can to ensure that it will be done?
