Tbomaa presided at a conference at Bloemfontein of the visiting delegates of the Empire Parliamentary Association with their colleagues of the South African Parliament. The conference unanimously adopted the principle of Parliamentary delegations visiting different ocuntries of the Empire at least once in two years. Mr Thomas’s and Viscount Burnham’s proposal that the next meeting be in London in 1925 was received with enthusiasm.
