Tbomaa presided at a conference at Bloemfontein of the visiting delegates of the Empire Parliamentary Association with their colleagues of the South African Parliament. The conference unanimously adopted the principle of Parliamentary delegations visiting different ocuntries of the Empire at least once in two years. Mr Thomas’s and Viscount Burnham’s proposal that the next meeting be in London in 1925 was received with enthusiasm. Thomas, British Secretary for the Colonies, interviewed, affirmed that the solution of questions affecting the whole of the British Commonwealth, such as the Indian, must be -tfc«'Mtfork'cf» < aIV parties. A Dominions’ Conference would "not abrogate the rights of each Dominion or delegate Cabinet responsibilities. The conference .will explore the whole _ situation, and devise a means of avoiding friction.
