ACTRESS AND MANAGER. HEAVY LIABILITIES. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received September 14, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, September 13. The “London Gazette” announces that receiving orders in bankruptcy have been issued against Miss Ethel WaiFWick, the actress, who toured Australia twice, and C. B. Cochran, theatrical manager. The latter’s liabilities approach £IOO,OOO. He expected to make £50,000 out of the Rodeo at Wembley, but states that he has not received a penny.
