REJECTION OF FINANCE BILL. “COMMONS MUST PREVAIL.” Reuter’s Telegram. LONDON, July 4. In the House of Comihons, Mr .1. R. dynes, referring to the rejection by the House of Lords of the War Charges Validity Bill, said the House of Commons was tho supreme authority on finance. The Government would take an early opportunity to make the will of the House prevail, and hoped to receive the general sup • port of all sections in its action.
