SURVIVAL FROM WAR
OLD TIME RESTRICTION. BELL FOR REMOVAL. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. LONDON, March 19. One of the surviving wartime restrictions, the continuance of which is greatly resented by tHe public, is the prohibition of the sale of ice creams and mineral waters after 9.30 in the evening. A private member’s bill has been introduced into the House of Commons with a view to permitting the sale of such commodities trill midnight every day in the week.
