SERIOUS MOTOR ACCIDENT

MAN AND WIFE BADLY HURT. (Special to "X.Z. Times.’’) DARGAVILLE, January 28. Mr Sam Canavan, whilst motorcycling at Kuraka gorge, met with an accident. A side-chair bumped over a 6tone, and knocked the handles of the cycle, it to swerve over the side of the road. It went down a bank about 30 feet deep. Mr Canavan sustained a severe cut on hie head and a compound fracture of the arm. He was a mass of braises from head to foot. Mrs Canavan was severely bruised all over the bodv.
