Buyers are present from every country interested in the manufacture nj woollen good, jind competition is very keen. Tho total catalogues comprised about 25,500 bales. Tho quality is hardly up to the high standard of last reason, bnt there was a proportion of very useful wooLs and many lots of very superior quality. So far ns the sale has gone prices are Very satisfactory, and in many cases exceedin'? expectations. Tho highest price "ns 31ft for first combing quarterorod. Merino woofs did not meet with such keen competition as hnlfbrcd and quarterbreds.
