SARAZEN’S WIN. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received January 23, 8 p.m.) NEW YORK, January 27. A telegram from Los Angeles states that Gen© Sarazen defeated Arthur Havers five up and four to go in a 72 hole match for the unofficial golf professional championship of the world. Sarazen checkmated Havers at the end of the eixtyeighth hole. The scores were Sarazen 280, Havers 236 for 68 holes. The second half of the match was played to-day. Arthur Havers is a former British open champion.
