INTERPRETATION EASY. GEDDES’S OPINIONS. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association (Received January 27, 11.5 p.m.) NEW YORK, January 26. Sir Auckland Geddes, prior to sailing home by the Aquitania, gave an interpretation of the clauses in the Liquor Treaty. There would be no difficulty to determine an hour’s steaming distance, he said; officials could easily decide tho speed and time necessary by examination of the engine.
