AN EASTBOURNE AFFAIR

ALLEGED BREAKING AND ENTERING. . At the Magistrate’s Court, on Saturday, Herbert Fake, was charged with breaking aud entering into the premises of Alexander Hancock, at Eastbourne, with intent to commit a crime. Senior-Sergeant Lander, stated' that the accused lived at Eastbourne, and on Friday entered the. house of complainant by a window. Mrs Hancock and her children were home and received a great shock on seeing the accused. When the complainant arrived home he was assaulted by the accused. On the application of the police, the accused was remanded to the 30th. Bail was allowed in a bond of £SO, and one surety of a like amount.
