As an aid to sea fishing operations bf night, a visitor to the Isle of Wight is usiiyy electric light. Ho carries an accumulator in the boat, and lowers the light to the bottom of the sea near th. bait. Ho lias made seme good catches. Mr Henry Spencer ascended in a balloon at Ronndhay Park, Deeds, with his son Percival and his daughter Una. On attaining a height of 3000 ft. they jumped off with parachutes and had an exciting race to earth. All three landed safely about a mile from, the park.
