BOXER KILLED
HEAVY FALL IN RING
DUNSTAN’S SKULL FRACTURED.

Jack Dunstan, who was knocked down several times during the course of a fight with Max Gomik on Saturday, was subsequently taken to the hospital from the Stadium. He never regained consciousness, and died yesterday. Medical examination showed that he had fractured the base of his ekull as a result of falling to the floor. Dunstan was 23 years old, and was formerly a boxing instructor in the Australian Navy, in addition to being champion of the fleet.
