CRIMINAL SESSIONS
OPENING THIS MORNING
LIGHT CRIMINAL CALENDAR
The criminal sessions of the Supreme Court will be opened in Wellington this morning by the H°n. Mr Justice Reed. The criminal calendar is not an exceedingly heavy one, and it is not anticipated that the sessions will be a long one. Though it is expected that the alleged defalcation ca*es qgain.t former Government employee? will occupy' some time. Tne oases set down are:
Janus Brown (Wellington), alleged receiving stolen property. John C. Neill (Wellington), alleged falstf declaration under Wav Pensions Act (two charges). Francis Alexander Millar and Sydney Alfred Bennett (Wellington), alleged theft.
Edmund Robinson (Wellington), alleged theft and receiving stolen property. Frank Victor Herbert Cqtjll (Wellington), alleged forgery apd conspiracy. Harry Patrick Hodgma OAfelliiigtou) alleged theft as a servant, also forgery.
Charles Edward William Philips (Wellington), alleged bigamy. The civij work will be undertaken bv Mr Justice Hosking and Mr Justice Salvnoud.
