T.ord Solhornc strongly demanded tlio repeal of tho Parliament Art. hndv Astor declared that they would never get reform of tho Lord-' P? lcny as the Peers claimed tho hereditary right to legislate. A motion asking the Government to proceed immediately with the reform of the Lords was carried.
