An echo of the famous Tichborne case was heard at the Old Bailey, when Orton’© daughter Theresa * Titeh■borno,” was sentenced to one year* imprisonment on a charge of writing threatening letters to Sir George Lewis, solicitor to the Tichborne family. She ai«o endeavoured to extort money from the Tichborne family by threats to kill them. She was sentenced to six months’ imprisonment iu 1913 for similar offences.
