The “Daily Mail” states that India is pressing tho Imperial Conference for an independent na\y, and is understood to bo willing to loot the bill if supreme control is granted. Tho paper points out that a difficulty arises under the Washington agreement, as Britain has the full complement of ships allowed by it. The liidianisation of the army will also be considered.
