AUCKLAND. October 26.
Dr. Percy T. Lunn, of Kaitaia, was fined £SO for failing to furnish returns of his income. It was stated that he had paid default assessment instead of sending returns. His solicitor explained. that Dr. Luna’s practice extended from the North Cape to Kaitaia, he was away from home a great deal, and could get no accountant to keep his books, because there was not one in the district.
