MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE SEACLIFF CLUB'S APPEAL. The management committee of the New Zealand Football Association met last night, when Mr C. F. Fordbam presided. Others present were Messrs W. Ellison, W. J, Hayward, W. G. Bryce, F, k\ Campbell, W. J. Forking B. L, Salmon, ii. Yeomans and 11. Buck. A report from the Auckland Associa Uon with reference to suspensions during the soason was adopted. It was reported) that the gross gate takings in connection with the Peter Dawson cup challenge match between Canterbury and Otago, played on August 29th, amounted to -£4S is 6d.

With reference to the appeal of the Seacliff Club it was decided to telegraph to the Otago Association to consider the appeal, ana to forward a report to the New Zealand Council within ten days. This was moved by Br B. L. Salmon, and unanimously decided. Tho Poverty Bay Association wrote regretting the failure of the Chinese tour, but stated that the committee wiw greatly encouraged by the promise of future dates for the district.

The question o«f the half-holiday was mentioned by the Southland Association in a communication, in which it was stated that it had somewhat upset matters in that district, and it was hoped to got tho Saturday half-holiday back next year, which should improve tho game.

Tho chairman and secretary were appointed to draft a reply regarding certain complaints from the Christchurch Association.

Tho Buller Association wore permitted to play an extra match, provided that it did not diash with any summer sport fixture.
