Every contest of the present season han drawn full houses, and in more than one instance the seating accommodation of the largo f lV>wn HaJlhaa l>een insufficient. There is very indication that iv ext Tuesday's tournament will bo an well patronised arc usual. In his appoaranoos in Wellington thiß season Blackburn has demonstrated his right to be considered one of the most attractive lightweights seen here. Against Voloiro on Tuesday next ho will be contesting at _ his best weight, and his friends oonsider that the Frenchman will have i(* bo at the top of his form to score a win. Additional interest attaches to this tournament, as a large number of visitfisg delegates from all over New Zealand! will be present for the conference being held next week, end some of the visitors will take the place of the [oral officials on this occasion. Mr Earl Stewart will bo the referee.
