Smith, >». Mills (skip): A. Mills, W. Skinner, F. Embury, F. T. O’Neill (skip). NEWTOWN CLUB TROPHIES. The Newtown Bowling Club, as the president (Mr C. W. Martin) intimated in hie speech at the opening of the seasun last Saturday, has many trophies open for competition amongst its members. The Banks feathers and Flyger thistles contests afford good games tor training teams, while the Citizens' Life Insurance badges are I’erinan buckles competitions are especially good lor train ing pairs. The club also bins a new tiophy presented by its old veteran. Mr H. Sexton, in the form of buckles to encourage the Drainard game of howls. Last, but not least, are (he Telford and Underwood cups, so that the club is well provided in regard to occasion for friendly rivalry in the game.
