EMPIRE CONFERENCE
DECISIONS THIS WEEK,
BUT MUCH YET TO DO. Australian and N.Z. CntUe Association. (Received October 24, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, October 23. Towards the end of the week it is expected that both the Imperial Conferences will begin to reach derisions, •but, as one delegate remarked: There will be a hectic time if the Conference is to complete its agenda within its original scope of sx weeks. The defence questions alone will take time to formulate. There is some reason to believe the Conference will accept the Singapore base.
