REV. FEILDEN TAYLOR’S BOYS" HOSTEL FUND.

For such a worthy object a 9 the creation of a fund for the boys' hostel under the auspices of the Rev. T. Feilden Taylar, it is email wonder that so many people are workng hard to make "The Wheel of Life” entertainments an unqualified success. Some eight of the leading drapery establishments have undertaken a 6poke in the wheel, and keen competition is being displayed by all concerned. The following firms arc being represented by members of their staffs (spoke number being given in parentheses) : Kirko&ldie and Staines (1), O. Smith, Ltd. (2), Veitch and Allan (3), George and George (4), Whitehead and Pears (6), James Smith, Ltd. (7), D.I.C (8), and D. S. Patrick and Co. (9). In addition, spoke number 5 is being undertaken by tho mission. Indicators, showing the progress of each spoke, are to be displayed throughout the cite during the next few days. The entertainments to be held ov November l6t, 2nd, and 3rd in the Town Hall promise many unusual features, as they comprise magnificent tableaux vivants, produced by the Misses Youmans, as well as concert items arranged by Mr C. E. Webb. In this connection the leading talc-nt of Wellington is represented, and all performers are giving their services free. Homemade sweets will be on s»le in the hall each evening.
