BONES IN A KETTLE
DISCOVERY IN LOS ANGELES. MURDER SUSPECTED. (Sydney "Sun” Cable.) NEW YORK, October 22. The police at Los Angeles are investigating the discovery of a quantity of bones iound in an old kettle in the basement oE the mansion of Edwa.rd Drew Clark. Tho police suspect that the boues are those of George Schick, a wealthy broker, who disappeared in August. Clark, his wife, and Schick’s wife in September obtained the power of attorney in connection with Schick’s property, and a charge of forgery has since been preferred against them. Experts state that there are indications that the body from which tho bones came .was dismembered and boiled down.
