BROADCASTING BARRED
GOVERNMENT’S DECREE. Australian and N.Z. Cabl* Apsocintiofr LONDON, October 22. The British Broadcasting Company announces that the Government has indicated that it is undesirable to depart from tho practice of not broadcasting speeches or a political nature like that which Mr Stanley Baldwin is delivering in Plymouth. Tho Government does nob object to tho broadcasting of other speeches by Mr Baldwin or other Ministers, such as those to be delivered by the Lord Mayor at the banquet on Armistice Day, which will be broadcasted throughout the country.
