BOH-ING LAVA BENEATH!
“I feel that in this matter I am treading on holy ground,” declared Mr C. P. Skerrett, K.C., during argument yesterday hefore the Full Court in connection with a case in which tlie Arbitration Court’© jurisdiction was under consideration—“ Holy,” he added, “in both ways.” Air Justice Hosking said it appeared as if counsel were walking on light ashes—in accordance with an old expression—but with boiling lava beneath. (Laughter.) “That is so, sir,” replied Air Skerrett, amidst renewed laughter.
