WAREHOUSEMEN’S MATCH,

WELLINGTON r WANGANUI. Teams representative of the Wanganui and Wellington warehousemen played a game at Cook’s Gardens, Wanganui, on Labour Day. the visitors winning on the first innings. „ _ The Wellington team was led by C. G. Wilson, one of the best known veteran pi ay era of the Dominion, who has represented Otago and Wellington. _ It also included S. Dempster, who gained Dominion honours last eeeson. On the homo side was Lnxford, 8. London, R. London, and Atkinson (captain), all of who have represented Wanganui. The game was of a very enjoyable nature, but from a purely cricketing point of view the feature was tho hatting of Dempster, who reached the oentury mark.
