BY N.Z. BOXING COUNCIL. MR MoVILLY ASKED TO EXPLAIN. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH October 20. The Boxing Council, having received no reply from Mr McVilly patron of the council, to its letter dealing with his actions in connection with the conduct of the New Zealand Championships, resolved: “That Mr Movilly, having ignored the council’s requests for an explanation of his dictatorial telegram to the council on August 10th, this council ie compelled to express its want of confidenoo in Mr McViJly as patron, and requests him to show cause why he should not be asked to resign.”
