A private cable from Sydney announoeg the death of Mr Walter K. Hi shop, formerly of Wellington, and well-known in Press and friendly society circles throughout the Dominion. Mr Bishop was a prominent member of the United Ancient Order of Druids, and founded the first lodge in the North Island over thirty years ago. He went to Australis in tho nineties, and wue appointed a member of the hoard of directors of the Druids Ordor in Melbourne. Lately he has resided in Sydney.
