CITY ADMINISTRATION
A REPORT PENDING. At the adjourned meeting of the City Council yesterday, Councillor G. Mitchell mentioned that the investigation committee in the city administration had hoped to bring rlown a report thie week. They had not been able to do so, but hoped it would be ready for the next meeting of the council, and should be in the hands of the members of the council in a week or ten days. It would deal with stores and the buying of requirements of the council, and in view of the department's work he hoped directions would be given that no alterations be made j>ending the receipt of the report. The report would deaf comprehensively with the whole department. The committee also hoped to report eoon on the city engineer’s department. In reply to Councillor Monteith, the Msyoi »-od reports would be placed in the hands of the councillors so that they could consider them before the next council meeting.
