GUILTY OF FORGERY
OVER £IOOO INVOLVED. Per Press Association, NAPIER, Uctoner 19. Gerald Leonard Knowles, managing director of G. L. Knowles, Ltd., pleaded guilty, before the magistrate, Mr Dyer, to t»ix chargee of forgery and false pretences, and was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. Three similar charges are being heard. The money involved in the first charges amounts to over £IOOO.
