ECLIPSE VAPOURIZER
NEW ZEALANDER'S SUCCESS. Mr E. E. Godward, of Invercargill, who left for America some time ago with liis Eclipse vapouriser, has sue* ceeded in “making good’ in that country (writes “Sparkwell” in the Auckland '‘Star”). A cable has been received from Mr Norton Francis, chairman of the New Zealand Company (who is at present in New York), stating that the American and Canadian rights have been disposed of. In addition to a cash consideration, the New Zealand company receives a quarter of a million, dollars of stock in a company being formed, as well as a royalty of 25 cents on each vapouriser manufactured. The agreement covers motor-cars, trucks, and cycles, tractors and aeroplanes. The rights for using the vapouriser on marine and stationary engines are being disposed of separately, and negotiations are progressing with that end in view. The results of a trial on a 220 h.p. Standard marine engine exceeded all expectations. Using kerosene as fuel the flexibility ranged from 5 to ISO horseSower, the vapouriser working perfectly. lr Godward is to be congratulated on his success.
