PROPAGANDA IN INDIA
SIKH LEADERS ARRESTED. AGITATION CONTINUES. Reuter’s Telegram. DELHI October 17. Arrests of the leaders of the Sikh Shrines Reform Committee who wore conducting a campaign in connection with the Nabha succession agitation, continue. The newly-elected leaders declare their intention of carrying out the policy of the arrested men. Meetings of Sikh leagues have been prohibited, and other steps are being taken to combat the spread of propaganda amongst the Sikhs, who, with the exception of a small dissatisfied section, are quiet. There is little response to the agitation.
