At Columbia, in South Carolina, tho Convention of the American Cotton Association adopted a resolution favouring 30 cents a pound as a reasonable price lor the year’* crop. Tho president, Mr J. S. Wanamakor, Founded the keynote, urging the growers to reduce their cotton acreage, in view of the weevil and adverse conditions.
