FIRE AT ELTHAM
BOARDERS LOSE EFFECTS. Per Press Association. ELTHAM, October 18. An outbreak of fire yesterday m 9 two-storied boarding-house, occupied by 3lrs Nodder. destroyed three room* at tho rear of the house. Sparks from the chimney ignited the bed clothes in cue of the rooms, and fanned by a strong wind, tho fire quickly spread to other parts of the building. Several boarders lost their per-onal effects. The damage was principally taused by water. Tlie insurance* total £1750.
