NELSON SYSTEM INAUGURATED By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. NELSON, October 18Nelson’s municipal electric light and power supply, for which a loan of £70,000 ivaj raised, was officially turned on last evening by the Mayoress, -Mia laick. The project had been delayed for several years pending hydro possibilities. A steam plant has been installed to act as a standby in the event of the district hydro-electric scheme developing.
