CITY RESERVES
COUNCIL'S ALLOCATIONS. The use of the city reserves was granted by the City Council last night as under, on the recommendation of the reserves committee :—Basin Reserve. Wednesday December 12tb, Wellington Public Schools* Amateur Athletic Association, annual sports; Basin Reserve, Friday, October 26th, Wellington Technical College, annual sports; Anderson Park, Wellington Girls' College. Monday, October 29th, for sports meeting, also Kelburn Park, Friday, November 2nd, for annual sports meeting; Basin Reserve, St. Patricks College, annual sports, on date to be arranged with director of narks; Newtown Park,. Community Club, March Ist to Bth, 1924, for military tournament • option to be given club to pay X2OO for use of the ground or 20 per cent, of the gate takings up to j£2so. and 2} per cent, on the remainder of the gate takings, club to have their own gatekeepers and submit balance-sheet, etc., to Town Clerk.
