Rivoli and Trentcourt went a mile on the grass in lrain 49sec. Duke Isinglass did six furlongs in lmin 21sec, and Claro the same task in lmin 24sec. Mirthmaker did nine furlongs in 2min Aisec, and Fred Power and Prince Hugo took 2min ssec. Rockwood (H. Jones) beat Comedy Star (A. Stephens) and The Tyrant (S. Wetherall) over nine furlongs in 2min 4isec. Hayhope did ten furlongs in 2min 18isec. Shrapnel and Evensong left five furlongs behind in lmin 6sec. Yacamunda (fid a mile on the cinder track in lmin 51sec. At Caulfield, on the grass, the going was good. Leachim (R. Medhurst) did the best ten furlongs, taking 2min lllsec. Whittier (D. Zeally) did ten furlongs in 2min assisted over the la6t 6ix by Accarak in lmin 20sec. Beeline, over six furlongs, took lmin 16fsec, and Wynette did nine (all out) in lmin 57£eec. Coleus recorded the best five furlongs in lmin dsec. The Cypher cantered. El Capitan did seven furlongs in lmin 32sec, The Epicure nine in lmin 57eec, and Marigold seven in lmin 33sec. H.
