NEW PLYMOUTH HIGH SCHOOL, "A BOND OF UNION/* Of late there has been much discussion by many old boys of the Now Plymouth High School, now residing at Wellington, as to forming a branch of the association in this city. On Saturday, 13th instant, a large end enthusiastic meeting was held, at which it was unanimously decided that the branch be formed. The election of officers resulted :—Patron, Mr W. H. Moyes, present headmaster of the school; president, Mr W. E. Rawson; vice-presidents, Messrs A. L Hempton, E. XV. Hursthouse, T. G. A. Harle, LX IL Popo and Colonel Standish; committee, Messrs’ Bothamley, Christie, Foden, Newell and Sutherland; hon.- secretary and treasurer, Mr fX G. Waterson.

The objects of tho association are to establish a bond of union among former pupils of the New Plymouth High School; to afford a channel by which old boys may 1 be made aware of each others* addresses and present circumstance©, and to afford former pupils an opportunity of testifying in such practical form as may soqtu fitting their interest in the school in its present working. A resolution was passed requesting the home branch to hold its annual reunion and ball at Easter instead of July ns in previous years. All old boya are to be asked to become members of the branch. The first annual smoko concert will be held towards the end of next month.
