MANY ARRESTS IN PUNJAB. NEWSPAPER SEIZED. Reuter’s Telegram. DELHI, October 11. IKe president and 19 members of tho Sikh Shrines Reform Committee at Amritsar have been arrested under the orders of tho Punjab Government on cliargcfl of sedition and conspiracy in connection with the activities of the Akali tribesmen over the Nabha State succession agitation. More arrests are imminent. Tho police seized tho committee’s newspaper office and plant.
The British authorities forced the ruler of Naibha State to abdicate, oil the discovery of his actions against a neighbouring State.
